It’s really satisfying working on a project really hard for a long time and then feeling great after when it’s accomplished.

I know we are all bothered by this, but I’d like to rant a bit.

There’s that age old question:

What do you want to do when you grow up?

Well the scary part is that I’ve never known. I still don’t know. And I am only one year away from graduating.

Lucky for me, I have a job waiting for me - which is something a lot of Ambrosians can’t say. But the thing is the thought of having to work here with these people for the rest of my life depresses me. I know I wouldn’t always be the “random errand and project girl” but I don’t think I’d ever truly be happy here. 

But the thing is I have no idea what else I’d like to do. None at all. Maybe I should have become a nurse or a teacher. I just don’t want to settle and be complacent in life. Money is important to me, but so is happiness. I just wish I could know and have a bit more direction in my life. I know this is a super common worry for a lot of people… but it still bothers me.

Ugh I just have to say it. Real life SUCKS.

All I want to do is travel and be busy learning and exploring the fun way. It is so weird being back and not really having anything to do (well anything fun that is…). I really don’t want to go back to work. It makes me sad that there isn’t that much to look forward to this summer now. And it makes me sad that my whole life once I graduate is going to feel like this.

Also, why can I still not sleep past 7 am? And why is my stomach being a maniac? This post is pretty silly of me, but I think I can be upset just this once, right?
